Centre for Research, Innovation and Collaboration

The Centre is established in June 2016, to manage and co-ordinate research activities in the University for innovation that will impact the development of the country. The Centre also identifies and proffers solution to technological problems of the society through research-driven activities. To achieve this, it engages the academic staff of the University in capacity building and harnesses their skills through proposal writing for both local and international grants.

In order to contribute to the growth of the country, the Centre links the industrial and commercial sectors of the economy to establish co-operation that will bring development to both the University and the Industry.

The Centre is also positioning the University for global engagement by forming partnership with International Communities both for research collaboration, capacity development and staff exchange programmes. All these will aid technological transfer in line with the vision and mission of the University.
